Increase Your Skills GmbH will participate in the online conference "sec-IT Special by Heise" on December 9th. Under the title "Hacking for Security – What security tests can do for companies!" experts from the industry will address the topic of security tests, offering insights and different perspectives. In their breakout session at 12.15 p.m., Hannes Hartung and Nicolai Oberthür from Increase Your Skills will discuss "Security Awareness from Scratch" with a look at Security Awareness Management (SAM) processes.
There are countless ways that companies can utilise security tests: to check their own security level, to find weak points in the system, or support internal information security generally. What these tests aim to achieve, how meaningful they are and what companies must consider with security tests are just some of the questions to be discussed at the online conference on December 9th.
Security experts will share their knowledge in exciting keynotes, live hacks, lectures and a concluding panel discussion. In the breakout sessions and an open discussion round, participants are invited to exchange ideas with each other and with the experts.
From 12.15 to 12.45 p.m., Hannes Hartung and Nicolai Oberthür will demonstrate in their breakout session what advantages an automated security awareness management system offers companies and how this can be put into practice. Together, they will explore why the budget for security awareness is often set too low and why training courses do not achieve the desired learning outcomes or are even perceived as disruptive. In the breakout session "Security Awareness from Scratch", you can learn about modern measures and approaches that systematically and measurably increase security awareness in your company. And this has a clear advantage: "Constantly repeated learning within an automated security awareness management system ensures that criminals find fewer points of attack," said Hannes Hartung.
