This autumn will see another instalment of Europe’s leading trade fair for information security. The it-sa Expo&Congress will open its doors from the 10th to the 12th of October, providing a space where visitors can get up to date on current information security trends and products. As in previous years, our colleagues from Increase Your Skills will be present with a stand in Hall 7. 

The it-sa Expo&Congress has held its place as one of the largest international cybersecurity trade fairs for over ten years now. The fair, which calls itself the HOME OF IT SECURITY, offers visitors the opportunity to connect with security experts and talk about data and network security and the challenges and solutions associated with this and other topics. Other important subjects that will be covered at the it-sa 2023 are cloud and mobile security as well as the protection of critical industrial infrastructures. 

Increase Your Skills will welcome the trade fair attendees at Stand 246 in Hall 7. The team will offer advice on the latest cyberthreats and the best ways to counteract them with product solutions that focus on information security and data protection. Visitors at the stand can get live impressions of the Phishing Attack Simulator. IYS’ experts will also provide information on the various awareness courses with their individual modules. “We look forward to exhibiting at the it-sa again and discussing security awareness with our clients and partners”, says Hannes Hartung.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be expert panels with informative talks on management and technology issues. The platform Startups@it-sa will provide an opportunity for budding companies in the information security sector to present themselves to the trade fair attendees. There will not only be contributions in German, but the International Forum in Hall 6 will also host presentations in English. On Wednesday afternoon, Hannes Hartung, co-CEO of IYS, and Lisa Wossal will give a talk called ‘OSINT - The Key to Threat Prevention - Successfully Shaping Security Awareness’ at Forum C (Hall 7). The trade fair will be complemented by Congress@it-sa, a congress programme that will look at current questions that arise from information security challenges. All of this makes the it-sa a great opportunity for transferring knowledge of data protection and information security and networking with industry-leading service providers and experts.
